DINING OUT HAS NEVER BEEN SO REWARDING

Hilton HHonors® teams up with Rewards Network to help members earn points while dining at more than 9,500 participating restaurants nationwide

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 9, 2009 - Hilton HHonors, the loyalty program for the Hilton Family of Hotels, today announced a new way for members to earn points toward travel, merchandise and experience rewards – simply enjoying a meal out on the town. Thanks to a new collaboration with Rewards Network, Hilton HHonors members can now register their credit and debit card(s) at HiltonHHonors.com/dining and begin earning points for each eligible dollar spent at any of the more than 9,500 participating restaurants in the Hilton HHonors Dining program.

Restaurants in the Hilton HHonors Dining program can be found throughout the 50 U.S. states and Canada and range in price, style, ambiance and location. From the landmark Central Park Boathouse in New York City to Los Angeles’s oldest live music venue on the Westside, Harvelle’s, the program has a wide variety of restaurants that are sure to please even the most discerning palate. Members can earn up to eight HHonors points for each eligible dollar charged to their registered credit or debit cards when dining at these locations as well as thousands of others.

Earning HHonors points through dining can add up to a free vacation fast. The latest federal Consumer Expenditure Survey found that, on average, a four-person household spends $5,600 annually on dining out. This spend could allow a family to earn more than 40,000 HHonors points if they registered in the Hilton HHonors Dining program as an Elite member and dined at participating restaurants. Those 40,000 points could then be redeemed for a two-night weekend getaway at a Hilton Family hotel in Miami or Los Angeles.

The site features individual restaurant descriptions, member reviews, menus, and even personalized criteria based on a member's previous searches and ratings.
