8. Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill
Virginia Beach, Virginia
1607 reviews in 2016
Close to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill offers fresh, delicious, environmentally friendly seafood fare. Try their Chesapeake Bay Oysters on the half shell or maybe a pound of steamed Snow Crab Legs.
“The Tuesday evening raw bar deal has made me a regular visitor to Lucky Oyster. From 4-9, in the bar only, raw bar items are half price, which makes them a very good deal. I’ve come at different times, and this week, I got to Lucky around 5:30. The bar was running at full tilt with a boisterous crowd. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait for a seat, and I got engaged in some lively chat with people around me. The crowd is friendly (there seem to be, like me, many “regulars”). If you like it quieter, though, try coming in after 7:30, when the after-work crowd has largely departed. This week, the oysters were EXCEPTIONALLY plump and meaty! I’ll be back again next Tuesday! Carrie and Nick keep the bar humming, for sure!”
– JM, Virginia Beach, VA
